Music Ministry
Music is a vital element in the worship of God and the music ministry department at Rose Park Baptist Church seeks to lead our congregation in a celebration of God’s presence among His people.
The Lord has blessed our church with many gifted individuals who are willing to serve the Lord sacrificially in orchestra, choir, and special music. Through congregational singing, solos, instrumental specials, and special groups, our people show their love for, and commitment to, our Lord and Saviour.
Reformers Unanimous
Reformers Unanimous (RU) is a Biblically-based addictions program which seeks to help those caught in the bondage of sin find freedom through the Lord Jesus Christ. The RU program is designed to take each individual through various challenges filled with Scriptural teachings and Bible memory. We believe that every temptation can be overcome through a personal relationship with Christ and by the application of Scriptural truths.
RU is not only for those struggling with addictions. It is also for the individual who has been saved for years and feels defeated by their besetting sin. Come learn how to have spiritual victory in every area of your life.
Reformers Unanimous meets every Friday evening at 7:00 at Rose Park Baptist Church.
West Michigan School of the Bible
The West Michigan School of the Bible is a three year institute designed to give students a better understanding of the Bible. The institute also provides practical classes which help students understand why they believe what they believe. Students will learn how to teach the Bible, the history of Baptists, principles of Biblical leadership, and other important subjects that will help them serve the Lord better within their local churches. Currently, those who graduate from the institute are permitted to walk during the commencement at Crown College of the Bible in Knoxville, Tennessee and receive a certificate of completion.
Revival Services
The Lord’s ministry depends upon His people have a heart that is right with Him. For this reason, we set aside certain times of the year to have special speakers come and deliver messages that will stir the hearts of God’s people, drawing them closer to the One who died for them.
Banquets & Fellowships
Every year we have a church family banquet where we gather together for a time of fellowship. We gather together for food, special music, and many other surprises. Sunday evening fellowships are an occasional opportunity to get together and meet our newer members as well as spend time with old friends.
Our Sunday adult Bible classes also seek to provide opportunities for the Lord’s people to spend time together outside of our regular gathering times. These scheduled times are often centered around fun activities which provide an opportunity for those who attend to make memories with a dear brother or sister in the Lord.
Each of theses is designed to allow God’s people time to fellowship together in hope of building relationship which will help each of us in our walk with the Lord.
Seminars
It is our desire for our people to continue to grow in knowledge as they are serving in their ministries. In order to encourage this growth, we will occasionally provide seminars for teachers, parents, and those wanting to learn how to be better witnesses to their friends and relatives.
